Busy road (anonymous place) in India

Mohit Dubey launched CarWale, a firm that allows consumers to sell and purchase used and new cars, more than a decade ago. However, after more than a decade with the company, Dubey realised that he was only helping 3% of India’s population. He desired to try something more substantial. Literally.
Chalo, his newest startup, allows bus operators to take digital payments and track commutes. In an interview with TechCrunch, he said that India’s bus market is a $20 billion opportunity, almost twice the size of cabs, but that there are very few buses in the country. “There are only three buses for every 10,000 people in India,” he said. It’s an area ripe for disruption, but it’s also one that’s mostly untapped.

Moody-economic analytical and impowering the status of Indian economy through investments

On Tuesday, Moody’s revised India’s outlook from ‘negative’ to’stable,’ claiming that an economic recovery is begun, with activity building up and spreading across sectors. India’s sovereign credit rating was also affirmed by Moody’s at Baa3, the lowest investment grade, just a notch above junk status.
The change in outlook to stable reflects Moody’s assessment that the downside risks from negative feedback between the real economy and financial system are diminishing.
The economic environment, according to Moody’s, will allow for a steady reduction of the general government fiscal deficit over the next few years, avoiding the sovereign credit profile from deteriorating further.
